The majority of hoteliers on the island are members of Promhotels, the Grado Hoteliers’ Co-operative which has been operating for several years in the tourist and promotion sector, also in conjunction with the Promhotels 2001 Travel Agency.
In addition to seasonal work,it also deals with organisation and co-ordination of meetings and conventions which are held at the Grado Conference Centre.
To promote the image of the town and the Friuli-Venezia-Giulia region in general, in the winter Promhotels organises promotional events both in Italy and abroad in conjunction with the regional and provincial organisations.
Particularly reasonable hotel rates are available for school groups and adults in the low season..
