Grado is the Sunny Island of the Adriatic Sea. Grado is not only a wellness and relax centre, but a very ancient and fascinating historical centre too: from its Roman “castrum” all the way to the Early Christian basilicas at the Campo dei Patriarchi and to the old fi shermen’s village picturesque corners.... and only a few kilometres from Grado there is the interesting archaeological site of Aquileia.
